Lynn and TadMeet  Tad Grodzki, architect of 4o years and Lynn, his wife who is a psychotherapist and business coach, who are building their dream house in Silver Spring, MD right next door to Lynn’s father’s home. (Visions of Everybody Loves Raymond?)

Lynn and Tad acquired the property from Lynn’s parents in 2007, so this has been a long-term project, going through many design iterations over the years. Follow along this blog to see the progress, problems, and possibilities.

About the architect: Tad is multilingual, born in Italy, raised in Argentina, speaks fluent Italian, Spanish, Polish and, of course, a slightly accented but richly colorful English. He is passionate about history, the arts, and the mysteries of the human condition. He also has been known to dance a mean salsa.

Tad designs residential and commercial projects and works at his own firm in downtown Silver Spring, MD, 20910. Need an architect? He can be reached at:

  1. I’ve lived in the neighborhood all my life and walked in Sligo CReek Park as a kid, young mother, and now with my retired husband. Strolling to Mrs. K’s I always enjoyed seeing “the castle.”
We look forward to seeing the progress on your new home as well.

    Best wishes,

    Melissa Middleton
